PLAY

Idyllic, white sandy beach...

Our unspoiled sandy beach stretches 16 kilometres from the Burrum River in the south to the soft white sands Theodolite Creek in the north. Gentle waters, cool breezes and dunes lined with shady casuarinas provide the perfect beach to relax or play! The shallow seas here are home to dugongs and turtles during the summer and dolphins in the winter months.

Where is Woodgate Beach?

Woodgate Beach is a hidden gem located between Hervey Bay and Bundaberg on the stunning Southern Great Barrier Reef. Only 4 hours drive north of Brisbane, there is something for everyone at Woodgate – whether you are looking for relaxation and a taste of old fashioned beach holidays or adventure and activities to keep the kids and ‘young at heart’ busy.
